“Now we have a three-year-old daughter and another one on the way. Our family is growing, so we needed a bigger space,” says Jaspreet.

Just recently, a neighbor celebrated his Chinese father’s birthday with a parade—complete with traditional dragon dancers—and invited everyone on the street. It reminds me of block parties from the 90s! It’s a very giving community. Having different events and being able to plan them as a group, for me, was important,” says Jaspreet.
