Get tickets here. November 25 through January 1.

Christmas lights at night

Theatre of Lights

This free event is a holiday lighting extravaganza at the Old Sacramento Waterfront, produced by the Downtown Sacramento Partnership. The nightly performances feature a live-action retelling of “A Visit from St. Nicholas” (better known as “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas”), a live dramatization on the balconies above K Street, a special appearance by Jack Frost and the lighting of a 60-foot Christmas tree by St. Nick himself. November 23 through December 24.

Holiday Weekends at the Old Sugar Mill

Come to the Old Sugar Mill (home to 14 wineries!) for a month-long celebration of Holiday Weekends. Each weekend, adults can enjoy live local musicians, food trucks and special holiday offerings from winery tasting rooms. Be sure to RSVP here to get your complimentary wine glass upon arrival. Every weekend starting Friday, November 25 through December 18. Free admission.

Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl

Are you ready for the holiday pub crawl of your life? Join the Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl and cheer up downtown Sacramento with your ugly holiday sweater (the uglier the better). Enjoy games, prizes, drink and food specials and no cover charge with your wristband at all participating locations. Get tickets here. Participating pub crawl locations are here. December 17.

Whether you’re enjoying the festive lights, visiting Santa, having a glass of wine or wearing the ugliest sweater you can find, your home at Northlake is centrally located near all of the holiday events Sacramento has to offer. After a day or night of holiday cheer, your cozy home at Northlake awaits!
